Community Playgroup
Busy Butterflies Education and Care invites families to join our Community Playgroup every Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at 9–13 Flame Tree Court, Cedar Grove. Our playgroup is open to everyone!
What We Offer:
Our playgroup provides a safe, welcoming space for mums, dads, grandparents, and carers to let children be themselves. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, communicate, and build lasting friendships.

- Boat and jet ski
- Yarning circle & Bush tucker plants
- Pet and feed our friendly animals
- Visit our very own butterfly house (butterflies seasonal)
Our coordinator also plans sensory activities, arts, and crafts to engage and delight the children.

Playgroups are a fantastic way for children to learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment with the support of their families. It’s also a great chance for parents and carers to meet others and build community.

- $2 a child $5 a family babies free
- Morning tea provided
- Tea and coffee available for adults
- Please bring: a hat, water bottle, and closed-in shoes
- Sign-in is required

Educators Playgroup
Busy Butterflies Education and Care hosts an Educator-only Playgroup every second Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at
9–13 Flame Tree Court, Cedar Grove. This playgroup is open to all Family Day Care educators, with approval from their services.
Purpose:
This playgroup offers educators a valuable opportunity to network and connect with peers. It also allows children attending Family Day Care to socialize in a larger group setting. Since Family Day Care operates with a small 1:7 ratio (4 under school-aged and 3 school-aged children), playgroup gives children a chance to meet and make friends beyond their usual group.

- Morning tea is provided
- Educators and children should bring a hat, water bottle, and wear closed-in shoes
