What You Need to Become an Educator

To join our Busy Butterflies team, you’ll need:

• ✅ A Certificate III in Children’s Services (or higher qualification)
• ✅ A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• ✅ A National Police Check (less than 6 months old)
• ✅ First Aid Training:
  • HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
  • HLTAID009 – CPR Certificate (current)
• ✅ A Provider Digital Access (PRODA/RA Number)
• ✅ Public Liability Insurance (e.g., through FDCA)
• ✅ An ABN (Australian Business Number)
• ✅ A safe and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environment
• ✅ Access to a phone, computer, and printer
• ✅ A genuine love for children and a willingness to work as part of a team
